The Pilates or Breath-a-Cizer breathing exerciser is another small device Joseph Pilates invented.

It is a device with a windmill wheel. It is blown through a straw and moving the breathing wheel learns the proper use of the diaphragm, proper breathing and treats people with asthma. The breathing wheel was actually called the artificial respirator and was designed by Joe as a way to practice and improve proper breathing.
